ATS believes that the only answer for South Africa is a national revival.
We have made the case that such a revival is not new to our beloved country.
We have however received valid critique from listeners/readers.
Critique: A plan that focuses on the Christian network will not work because of how corrupt Christians can be.
ATS: We concede that the Christian network is deeply troubled. Yet, we believe the network has unimaginable possibilities and that we can trust God for a revival of His people.
Critique: It is a “simplistic” and spiritual solution to a very complex sosio-economic problem.
ATS: We agree it is a very complex problem. The question is: who is able to develop a sosio-economic solution for 60+ million interconnected individuals? Only God - the Creator and Sustainer of everything. He understands, even better than we ourselves can, our “daily challenges, needs, wants, fears, and goals … down to the very notable level of intimacy and care.”
Critique: If you plan to achieve big change you must associate with powerful and influential individuals.
ATS: That might be true if what you aim to achieve is humanly possible. But even then we want to challenge this strategy. We believe it can be through ordinary people; a father, mother and children who devote their lives to Jesus, and live through the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that work the power of the resurrected Christ in people's lives. “Ordinary people” represent every aspect of our South African society, and there are many of us.

Will you not pray and believe with us for a national Holy Spirit revival in South Africa?
