Vocational guidance for our Youth
We are reaching out to you with the assumption that, having downloaded our Victor Kids Sunday School programme (even if it was some years ago), you might have contact with or an interest in youth-related challenges and guidance.
For young people and their parents (including grandparents), making vocational decisions can be a daunting task. Our world is, in many instances, "upside down." We are told that Artificial Intelligence will forever change the workplace, and many of the jobs we know today will cease to exist in the near future, while new jobs that we have never heard of will be created.
The question for youth and their parents is: how do we navigate these uncertainties?
If you know of families currently dealing with these questions, please refer them to the video titled "Compelling Reasons to Study a BTh Degree." Even if they are not considering full-time ministry, we believe this video will provide families with an alternative perspective, aiding them in finding answers regarding the future.
Additionally, if you know of young people who, for whatever reason, do not meet the requirements for entry into higher education, such as universities, the following video may assist them.
The Marketplace Minister Certificate offers a pathway into the academic world, but even if they do not wish to pursue academic studies, this certificate will help deepen a Christian understanding of the Bible and God. We believe that everyone is called, and we trust the Lord for a Holy Spirit revival in South Africa, in which we all will play a part. The concept "Marketplace Minister" is also explained in this video.
